Dogs LOVE toys!! So why not make some interesting toy for you pup to play with. At Good Behavior Dog Training, my pups love the Hol-ee rollerball stuffed with strips of fabric with treats hidden inside!! ( To be given under full supervision only to make sure your pup doesn’t injest the fabric strips) Buy some fabric at the thrift store or fabric store, cut into strips and shove into Hol-ee Roller ball with treats and enjoy watching your pup rip the fabric out to get to the treats!!! Repeat as needed :~)
For those hot summer days, make your pup an ice lick using water or low-sodium beef or chicken broth. Hiding some of your pups favorite toys, treats. Get a container of your choice (I use an old Tupperware container) and pour in water or low-sodium beef or chicken broth then toss in some tasty treats and place in the freezer. I check it often and break up the ice and stir till it becomes a slushy mixture then, I add in a few toys and a few more treats and let freeze till solid. You will want this to be an outdoor treat as it melts and can make a mess. ;~) You can also use an ice tray to make individual small ice treats.
